Wow, it has been a long time

I was actually going to post last week, and got sidetracked on the way. Figures doesn't it.
The new level sync system is so much fun. I have had the joy of being in parties with members of my ls. That has been so great. It has been months since I partied so I have been very rusty with the macros keys, but it was starting to get a bit easier. I have leveled rdm to 33 and whm to 31. Now, I am back to some gil issues. Farming and harvesting. I need to buy spells, and I am sure equipment and armour will be necessary upgrades soon. My baron's siao set has been servicing my well, but I'm not sure how much farther I can get with it on those two jobs. I will have to do some more research. In the mean time, blm is still much to low, and I need to focus in it. I have also done a bit of work on dnc, thf, war, and mnk, unlocked paladin. I have increased my gobbie bag to 50 slots which is such a relief after having 35 for so long. It has come in very useful for harvesting and farming lately.
I just found a place that I printed up a couple of maps of the Jungles, hoping I can find my way around them soon, they are a pain in the neck. YUCK!

Adventures in Job attainment.

I have spent the past several weeks getting several advanced jobs unlocked. The first one was Beastmaster, since it was right there in Jeuno. Once I figured out I was headed to the wrong cliff it was easy to do. I did die once, but that is part of the fun right?
I unlocked Bard, Ranger, Dragoon with lots of help, and Ranger. I have the ruby for summoner, thanks to Sholah and Anjin for helping me with that one.
In the process of going into the shadowlands redmage deleveled. So I am sad about that. I can not unlock anyothers until I get it back up. Noelie and I did get dancer unlocked so I have several jobs I can do for now. I am excited to get to know them a bit better, but I hate the thought of needing to level jobs I really don't like too much. I suppose that is part of life.
I really like my wyvern, I named it Azure, I am sure a name that most people pick. It was the only one on the list that spoke to me.
Now I can do lots of things again on my own. It can be hard to rely on others at times.

Level 30 reached

It seems like it took for ever, but I now have rdm to level 30. I thought for sure it was going to take longer, but with some good parties and time to play this week, I made it at last. I still struggle with targeting the wrong mob at times. I keep getting told to use the macro, but other sites suggest that is not good when beasts have been slept because a spell will target that mob. I don't know it is so confusing. :)
So on to the adventure of unlocking advanced jobs. There are so many I would love to try. I will work on the ones I think I can unlock on my own and go from there.
I guess this means more leveling war since I have not done it much. :(

Rank 3 obtained

I managed, with the help of some really great people,(Bones, Melpomne, Noelie, Cevout, and Anjin), I completed the Rank 3 mission for Windurst.
I started in Sandy, and I managed to kill the Warchief Vatgrit in Ghelsba, after forgetting to eat food, cast enhancing magic (like blaze spikes and Enthunder), gee I must have been so dumb. Then I forgot to go back to Sandy and talk to my consulate there before I went to Bastok, so I had to ride all the way back to do it. Luckily I do have warp so I was able to get back to Bastok quick but it was such a waste of a Republic medal usage. grrrr.
Eventually we made our way to the Palborough mines and Anjin guided me to the burning circle. I have no idea how we got there! :)
We killed the seeker and the dragon quickly, without any problems. The longest part was our deciding to go in and do the thing.

After the fights Bones, Mel and Noelie helped Cevout and I get the items for the Road to Alt Urghan quest. I finished that today so now I can get to whitegate. :)

Slowly, as I play, I am getting access to more and more areas. Now to make it to level 30 and rank 4.

An excellent party

Of course I go on game a couple of nights ago to try to level RDM. It doesn't go well. After 2 hours no invite. I suppose I could have tried to put a party together but I was not in the mood to try to lead a mix Japanese/English team. I am not that comfortable in lead to do that yet.
Still I managed to get 1 snowman out of the effort. I tried to solo also but that did not go so well.

Last night a different story altogether. I was not planning to party. I managed to get the last two snowman for my moghouse and I was placing them in, when I got an invite. I decided I would join and let the leader know I could only stay about 1 hour. I stayed longer when I waited for my replacement, but it was hard to go. The party was excellent. We had a whm, rdm, blu, sam, nin, and dnc. Everyone did their jobs, and did them well. I had not played rdm for awhile, particularly in a party situation, and I think I was able to do well because everyone else did well. For the most part I was able to enfeeble and cast a few regen on the tank, and a couple of others when they needed it. I was able to back up cure for the whm fairly well.

My only confusion was the whm would wait for me to cure him, and a couple of times he did not heal to regain his mp. It was a fun party, no PL, and no deaths. It really was hard to say goodbye, but it was time for me to get off!

Christmas Trees and leveling

Over the past month I have continued to level WHM up. It is now at 24. I died on my way back to Jeuno after a party the other night. I must be the agro queen of the area. If I can agro something I will do it!
Still some very nice people helped me out and were very, very kind to me.
I also managed to do some of the Christmas event. I got Three trees in my Moghouse, my sister sent me some furniture and I got some of the event items! All in all a pretty successful month.
I am having so much fun at the game. I wish I could play it more, and I really want to get to level 30! I want Advanced jobs!

Not much progress

I am pretty much at the same spot. Leveling has been slow since I am only playing once a week, and moving above level 20 is so slow. We have had some frustrating party's, and one that failed because I failed miserably in the process. IT is furstrating to have members leave because of a mistake but it happens I guess.
Maybe I will be lucky to reach level 30 in January.
